Reflexology is based on the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding point or zone in the feet.  During a treatment, light pressure is applied to each of the reflex points in the toes, feet and ankles.  This releases tension, removes energy blockages, disperses accumulations of calcium and uric acid, stimulates blood circulation and promotes healing of both mind and body.

Fertility and Maternity Reflexology, Whether you are trying for a baby or undergoing investigations or support on the road to parenthood this is a challenging time on you and your partner and your relationship. Reflexology can assist you to get your body into optimum health for parenthood through gentle detoxification and relaxation. From those whose first visit to the Doctor are hit with the 'I' word, to those embarking on their first course of IVF treatments, Reflexology could help. Fertility reflexology is a gentle, relaxing treatment provided to one or both partners in preparation and support of medical investigations, this treatment can regulate menstrual cycle, balance hormones and provide much needed stress relief in a non-invasive manner. To gain maximum benefit I would suggest treatments for both partners.Once pregnant there are additional challenges on the Mum to Bes body which reflexology can help with such as insomnia, morning sickness, carpal tunnel syndrome, and back pain to name but a few.

Massage Helen offers three types of home massage Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage and Aromatherapy Massage.  Swedish Massage is a popular massage technique incorporating sweeping and wringing movements to encourage detoxification, release of tension, stiffness and tightness of the muscles. Aromatherapy Massage uses scented oils specifically chosen for each client in order to provide a healing treatment to the mind, body and spirit and utilises more rhythmic, gentle massage techniques. Indian Head Massage is based on the ancient Ayuverdic massage still practised in India today. The aim of the massage is to release the stress that accumulates in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders.

Facials will begin with a double cleanse and exfoliate to prime the skin for the toner and moisturiser. Dependent on your chosen treatment you may include a hand and arm massage and or a facial massage to complete.

Reiki. The word reiki means 'universal life energy' in Japanese, where this therapy originated at the turn of the century. Reiki is based on the premise that illness is caused by a disruption in the body's energy field or life force. By using specially designed symbols and channeling energy, it is believed that the body can be filled with positive energy causing the disease-making negative energy to disappear. A reiki therapist will hold his/her hands in a number of positions above the body in order to channel energy. You will not require to undress for this treatment.
